iPod shuffle is a budget model digital audio player in Apple’s iPod family which was first introduced to market in January, 11 2005. It was the first iPod using flash memory as a storing data media instead of hard disk. It is available for 2 version capacity, 1 GB and 2 GB. Currently this model of iPod reaches 2nd generations. Available in silver, green, blue, pink, orange, light green, light blue, purple and red color, this iPod model uses USB 2.0 connectivity with minimum OS Mac 10.3 or Win 2000.
Using iPod shuffle you can play MP3, MP3 VBR, AAC, Protected AAC, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), WAV and AIFF (only iTunes format not supported is Apple Lossless).
